What if humanity’s greatest evolutionary leap does not lie behind us, but before us?
When we look in the mirror or observe those around us, many of us sense a far greater potential lies within us, waiting to be realized. This is why philosophers, mystics, and teachers of wisdom have been asking the same questions since the dawn of our civilization: What is the true, deeper purpose of human existence? What is our final destiny?
These fundamental questions remain unanswered, but thinkers such as Nietzsche, Teilhard de Chardin, and Sri Aurobindo were in agreement on this point: man is a transitional being, called upon to transcend himself and tap into new dimensions of consciousness.
If they are right, what will this future being that we are destined to become be like? And what role does each and every one of us play in this great evolutionary process?
Ascension explores these questions and provides new, crucially important perspectives on the purpose, scope, and culmination of our spiritual destiny.
This book was written for spiritual pioneers. For people who have the courage to question their deeply entrenched beliefs and sacrosanct traditions, and to explore uncharted territory.
Although titled Ascension, this book is, at its core, about you. It is about your life, the evolution of your consciousness, and the possibilities that lie hidden within you. Perhaps you have long sensed that your existence has a deeper meaning and that your true potential extends far beyond what you have been led to believe. We invite you to view your spiritual growth from a new perspective, to discover the main precepts of the New Spirituality, to open yourself to new paths to putting an end to your personal suffering as well as humanity’s collective suffering. And at the same time, to gain a new understanding of the meaning of creation and the deeper purpose of your own spiritual journey.
The insights and ideas presented in the following chapters are unconventional and break with the teachings of classic spirituality. They arise from decades of spiritual practice, intensive inner exploration, and experiences that have fundamentally reshaped our understanding of spirituality and humanity’s ultimate destiny.
To ensure that these insights are not only understood but also experienced, Ascension unfolds as a semi-fictional spiritual odyssey. Together with a young woman, you embark on an extraordinary journey in which her exploration of the great questions of the human condition is interwoven with lived experience. This creates a space in which knowledge can become insight, and insight can become your own experience.
But Ascension does not stop at an exploration of the big questions about the nature of consciousness and the purpose of this creation. It also accompanies you on your very own personal journey. You will find concrete guidance for creating the optimal preconditions for your awakening, practical advice for mastering the challenges of everyday spiritual life, and a vivid description of how a life lived in awakened consciousness can feel and unfold.
This book is a spiritual wake-up call, a practical manual for your personal ascension process, and an invitation to embark on your greatest adventure: a profound and intense transformation of both your body and consciousness that goes beyond everything you have imagined possible in a single lifetime.
We do not expect you to believe anything simply because we have written it, and invite you to test everything against your own intuitive inner guidance. The highest truths cannot be simply accepted; they must be recognized and experienced. As always, they come to us when we are ready to receive them.

“I’ve got something important to tell you.” Arya put down her wine glass and looked across the table at her closest friend.
“You’ve been in an unusually ebullient mood the whole evening, so I suppose that you’ve got good news,” Anne responded with a smile. The two women had just enjoyed an excellent meal at their favorite Italian restaurant: a cozy family business they’d discovered while students, just a couple of blocks from the psychiatric clinic where they now worked.
After a short pause, Arya leaned forward, her expression serious. “Do you remember the bad patch I went through five years ago?”
Anne stared at her, nonplussed. “If you mean your terrible, debilitating depression, then the term ‘bad patch’ is a massive understatement! From one day to the next, without forewarning, you broke off with Martin and locked yourself up like a recluse in your apartment with the blinds down for almost two months! You didn’t respond to our telephone calls, hardly ever left your flat, and had no contact with the outside world. We were all worried sick. Your parents, Mia, your friends, everyone. We thought that we’d lost you. And then, suddenly, there you were, back again, smiling, cheerful, overflowing with energy and enthusiasm. Back at work on your Master’s thesis as if nothing had happened. It was a miracle. As if you’d risen from the dead. So, for heaven’s sake, of course I remember!”
The young blonde held up an appeasing hand, her voice soft and conciliatory. “That was actually a rhetorical question. As you know, I never talked about how I overcame my depression. But now, the right moment has come to explain my silence. That’s why I invited you to dinner this evening. By the time I’ve finished my story, you’ll understand why I behaved as I did. Something happened to me that’s very difficult to communicate and even more difficult to believe.”
***
Looking out the window onto the street, Arya tried to find the right words. The restaurant was located in a narrow side street, at the heart of Vienna’s attractive pedestrian precinct. It was still light, but the inner city was quiet. A few late shoppers ambled past the large bay window.
Arya reached out and touched her friend’s hand. “At the time, for reasons I don’t want to analyze now, an irresistible whirlpool of depression sucked me into the darkest depths of despair. My so-called ‘bad patch’ went on for far more than two months. It lasted almost six months. During the last two months – the phase you’re referring to – I broke down completely and couldn’t hide it from the outside world anymore. I did seek professional advice, Anne, but no therapist was able to help me. The medication they prescribed didn’t bring the desired results. You can understand that after months of heaviness, listlessness, and darkness, I was seriously contemplating suicide. Life had become unbearable.”
Arya bent sideways, opened her holdall, and pulled out her laptop. “Now this is where my story gets interesting. One night, I had a very vivid dream. In my dream, I was spending a few days in an isolated hut in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps when a silver-haired man suddenly appeared, uninvited and unexpected. He told me he had something to show me. Plucking a leaf from a beech tree, he asked me to examine it carefully so that I could recognize its unique features. He then went with me into the hut, placed the leaf on the rough wooden table, sliced it into small pieces, and told me to examine it again.
While I inspected the dissected leaf, he opened his backpack, pulled out a beautifully carved emerald scarab, and instructed me to watch very attentively. He placed the scarabaeus carefully over the dissected leaf and left it there for a few seconds. When he lifted the beetle off the leaf, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The beech leaf was whole again! I picked it up and checked. It was definitely the same leaf, and it was just as definitely whole again. The man turned to me and smiled. ‘I know how to do this!’ he said.
Then he looked deep into my eyes and placed his fingertips gently on my temples.” Arya raised her hands to her temples in an imitation of the gesture she was describing. “I suddenly felt excruciating, burning pain in my right hip, solar plexus, and lower belly. My brain was flooded with a brilliant white light, and I lost consciousness.
When I woke up the next morning, the heaviness, exhaustion, and hopelessness had magically vanished. My depression was gone. Completely gone. It never returned. I felt as if I was reborn. My old drive, discipline, and energy were back with a vengeance. I was able to work on my Master’s thesis again and catch up on the time I’d missed.”
Arya stood up and moved around the table to sit in the chair next to her friend. “That mysterious nightly encounter not only healed my depression, but saved my academic career and gave me a new lease on life. As you can imagine, I was absolutely dumbfounded. On the one hand, I was deeply grateful. But at the same time, I was mystified. I just couldn’t understand what had happened. It just didn’t fit into my accepted conceptions of the possible and real!“
Anne stared at her, trying to take in what she had just heard. “That’s really incredible! Are you telling me that this mystery man cured you of your depression by touching your temples with his fingers? In a dream? Are you serious?”
Arya nodded. “Yes! That’s exactly what happened. Now we’re both trained clinical psychologists. Can you imagine me telling this story to my colleagues or family? You know how they’d have reacted. That’s why I kept my mouth shut.”
Her forehead wrinkled in a puzzled frown, Anne responded understandingly. “Of course! I guess I’d have done the same thing. I mean, who in their right mind would believe that you were effortlessly healed from a life-threatening depression by a stranger you encountered in a dream? That’s really one of the weirdest stories I’ve ever heard!”
A waitress walked to the old radio behind the bar and turned the soft background music down a notch. Anne’s eyes followed her absently as she thought aloud. “What has this strange magic trick with the cut leaf got to do with your depression? Why did he use a scarabaeus? Do you understand what he was trying to tell you? I certainly don’t.” A thought struck her, and she paused. “But what has happened? Why are you telling me now?”
Arya poured herself a glass of water and drank slowly and deliberately before replying. “In my dream, the mystery man wore a white shirt with a distinctive gold and white emblem discreetly embossed on it. For months, I searched the Internet for both the man and the emblem, hoping to find concrete evidence that this person really exists. I wanted to locate his whereabouts and get him to explain both the cryptic message he had passed on and my miraculous healing. But I couldn’t find him or the logo, and at some point, I guess, I gave up and went on with my life.”
Arya pushed the empty plates aside and carefully placed her laptop on the table. “This morning, I had breakfast in the canteen of the clinic and, as usual, took the opportunity to work my way through my personal email before starting work. This was the third email I opened. Look at that firm logo! Do you see the seven golden rings, the golden-white lotus, and the golden egg? This is the emblem that my mystery man had on his shirt! And here is his photo!” She opened a website and showed Anne a photo. “I’m absolutely sure. It’s definitely him.”
Arya turned to her friend. “Can you imagine how I felt? My mind went blank! Pure, unadulterated shock! Actually, I was both shocked and exhilarated. Shocked by the mind-boggling implications of my discovery. Exhilarated, because this proves that I’ve been right all along and that I’m not crazy. After years of fruitless searching, I’d given up all hope of ever finding either the logo or the man. I’d even doubted that they existed. But coming across the logo this morning, getting the visual confirmation that it actually exists, changes everything. It means that the strange, life-changing experience that miraculously pulled me away from the brink of despair five years ago was far more than just a dream.
As far as I’m concerned, the logo itself has never been important. What really mattered was to find this stranger who conveyed a mysterious message and then did something to me that changed my life. My search has always been to find him, and the emblem on his shirt was my only clue. And now, here he is.”
Intrigued, Anne examined the screen and read aloud. “Kosmosophia? What sort of website is this? Who is he? Some sort of healer? What have you found out?”
“Well, I’ve found out that his name is Raphael Laurent,“ began Arya. „He’s a retired aeronautical engineer and one of the founders of a spiritual community, or, from what I gather, a rapidly growing network of communities, called the Cosmic Village. Apparently, there is only one Cosmic Village, spread across numerous sites around the world.
But what really gets me is that this email is actually a personal invitation to a meeting! He addresses me in a very familiar tone as if we were old acquaintances! Do you realize what this means, Anne? The fact is, I haven’t found him after all these years of searching, but he has found me! It makes the whole affair all the more mysterious and incredible.“
The young blonde ran her hands through her unruly curls. “I mean, I’m really grateful for the healing. You’ve no idea how grateful! The trouble is that the whole business, everything that has to do with this Raphael Laurent – the way he healed me effortlessly in an instant in a dream, the magician’s trick with the leaf and the scarab, and now this unexpected mail inviting me to a meeting in his Cosmic Village here in Austria – is really extraordinary, in the literal sense of the term. I feel like I’m caught up in a science fiction fantasy. But it’s all real. This is actually happening.”
Anne didn’t say anything, but her troubled expression spoke volumes. Her auburn hair glistened in the restaurant’s subdued light as she scanned the photo gallery on the laptop screen and pointed to a photo. “Which of these photos is the most recent? What does he look like today? Are all these photos of the same person?”
Arya smiled ruefully. “I’m so glad you brought that up. Look at this! Here he is, a young engineer at his graduation ceremony. Here is a second photo from when he was promoted to head his division, and another from ten years ago, when he retired. And this photo was taken at a conference earlier this year. It’s the same man, but his hair is dark now, and he looks younger today than he did when we met in my dream five years ago. There is no doubt about it!
While Anne scrutinized the photos and the most recent video clip, Arya called the waitress over and ordered a cappuccino for both of them.
“Okay. Since this is a video, it is clearly not Photoshop. It seems genuine enough. And he does look much younger than his biological age, but maybe he just has good genes. There must be a logical explanation for his youthful appearance.“
She sipped at her cappuccino and looked at her friend over the rim of her cup. “What else have you found out about Raphael Laurent and his Kosmosophia team?”
Arya leaned back in her chair. “Well, the vision and mission of Kosmosophia are concisely and eloquently described on their website. Personally, I find their overall message just as extraordinary and out-of-the-box as everything we’ve discussed so far, and just as challenging to the rational mind. But what they say is interesting and thought-provoking; I must admit that.” She chuckled. “The truth is, they’re rebels. And, as you well know, I love rebels! I love people who challenge the status quo: people who, to paraphrase Kant, awaken us from our dogmatic slumber. And what really impresses me with these people is that it looks like they actually walk their talk. And you know how rare that is!”
Anne waved her hand impatiently. “Of course, I know that you love rebels. You’re very much the irrepressible rebel yourself. So? What’s their message? What’s so extraordinary?”
“Fine! I’ll try to summarize the essence, but please read the texts yourself when you have the time.” Arya took a deep breath before speaking. “They point out that discoveries in modern cosmology, like the incredible fine-tuning and self-organization of the universe, are incontrovertible evidence of an omnipresent Intelligence at work in this creation. Furthermore, the claim that matter is the prime building stone of the universe is erroneous. This is why modern science has failed to provide plausible explanations for the origin of consciousness and life. The truth is that matter and consciousness are inextricably interconnected. Both are part of a multidimensional continuum, of which the material world we experience here on Earth is the outermost, densest layer. This, they say, isn’t a concept, but can be personally experienced.
Furthermore, over the past millennia, our primary source of inspiration and guidance has been our rational mind: our logical and analytical faculties. This is the evolutionary phase of Homo cogitans – the thinker. This phase has reached its zenith in our contemporary global Information Society, with its belief in the power of reason, the power of science and technology, and in the power of progress.
The normal consciousness of Homo cogitans is one in which he experiences himself as an individual, separate from his fellow humans and from his environment. This mode of perception is the cause of all our suffering and of all our problems. As long as we’re in this consciousness, suffering, conflict, and discord are preprogrammed and inevitable.” Arya paused and waited for her friend to signal her comprehension before continuing.
“The next stage in humanity’s evolution has been embodied by a relatively small number of individuals. It’s that of Homo sapiens – the wise human – in the true sense of the term. These individuals are the enlightened sages of all mystical traditions.
The source of inspiration and guidance of these sages is not the rational mind, but their Divine Self or Higher Self. They no longer experience themselves as separate from their fellow humans and the outer world, but are in unity consciousness. They’re deeply aware of the Oneness of Being. This realization has a radical and permanent impact on their self-perception and their perception of the outer world. They no longer suffer, but are in a stable state of bliss and inner peace. They also manifest paranormal abilities or Siddhis. This is the consciousness of the Vedic Rishis, of Buddha, of Ramana Maharshi, and a long list of spiritual masters. These sages have, however, still fallen sick, aged, and died.”
Arya sipped at her coffee. “According to the Kosmosophia team, what is coming our way now is Homo Divinus – the divine human. And this is where they break with tradition and open us to a new and revolutionary interpretation of the purpose of creation and of human destiny.
Classic spiritual tradition teaches that the world of time, space, and form is an illusion – a projection of our consciousness. The purpose of life is to escape this illusory matrix and the endless cycle of death and rebirth by attaining Self Realization. In other words, the whole purpose of this creation, according to classical spirituality, was to serve as a prison from which we should escape as quickly as possible.
The Great Cosmic Ascension scenario of Kosmosophia is completely different. Form and formlessness are seen as equally sacred and interpenetrate: they’re two sides of the same coin. Kosmosophia says that we live in a magnificent, intelligent, conscious creation that is far more than just a projection of our consciousness. It was created so that the Divine could express and experience itself in countless ways, and the ultimate purpose of creation is to explicitly express the manifold qualities of the Supreme Source in the world of form.
This, as I understand it, is the Grand Cosmic Ascension: the whole of creation is about to experience a shift into an extremely high God-realized consciousness and will then manifest the qualities of the Supreme Source in the world of form – not just as a state of consciousness, but visibly and tangibly in matter. In other words, animals, plants, minerals, etc., will visibly manifest divine beauty, harmony, power, and other qualities of the Supreme Intelligence; as will the divine human – Homo Divinus – who will no longer age, fall ill, or die, but will walk the earth as a divine being in an immortal, young, radiantly healthy, immaculate body. The purpose of creation is, then, not just to serve as an illusory prison but is far more wonderful and meaningful: its true purpose is to visibly express the magnificence and glory of the Supreme Source in myriad forms. It is the joyful expression of an Infinite Creative Intelligence that wishes to see itself reflected in the world of form.”
Slipping her laptop back into her holdall, Arya concluded. “I must admit this scenario appeals to me far more than the classic interpretation. It makes more sense. And I like the idea of manifesting Heaven on Earth and of walking this earth as a divine being.”
She waved a delicate hand in a large sweeping gesture. “I mean, just look around you; is this the best we can do? The Kosmosophia team is right to point out that the label Homo sapiens doesn’t reflect our consciousness, behavior, or lifestyle. There is very little evidence of wisdom in our society. Homo cogitans is definitely a more accurate term for modern man. Just as The Thinker of Auguste Rodin is more representative of the average individual than a statue of a blissful Buddha meditating.”
Arya looked into Anne’s dark eyes. “Something deep inside me knows that our present consciousness isn’t the end of the journey. It can’t be the expression of humanity’s highest potential. There must be something better waiting for us. So maybe they’re right. It all sounds far-fetched, but it may be true. Anyway, it is really refreshing to be presented with a positive, inspiring vision of the future of humanity rather than the countless, depressing Armageddon scenarios we’ve been fed by the mass media over the past decades.”
Anne glanced at her watch. “Judging from what I’ve heard up to now, our meeting is far from over. Why don’t we go to your place? You still have a lot to tell me, don’t you?”
Arya nodded her agreement. Walking over to the bottle-laden glass counter, she exchanged a few words with the portly woman in grey who ran the restaurant and made a special request. The woman smiled and disappeared into the kitchen, returning a couple of minutes later with a small paper bag. Arya settled the bill, and the two young women walked out into the pedestrian precinct bathed in the silvery light of a crescent moon.
***
After a short walk, they arrived at Arya’s spacious penthouse, which also served as a pied-à-terre for her father when he was in Vienna, wrapping up government contracts. The headquarters of Weissbach AG, Austria’s second-largest construction company, was in Innsbruck, as was the family home, but Arya had always loved this light-flooded apartment with its large terrace and magnificent view of the Viennese skyline. She was, therefore, both enchanted and deeply grateful when her father signed it over to her as a graduation gift.
Once they had settled on a comfortable couch, savoring the panna cotta and fresh strawberries that the owner of the restaurant had handed Arya in the small paper bag when they left, Anne voiced her thoughts: “I can understand that you’re impressed by these people and that a positive vision of the future appeals to you. It appeals to me, too. But let’s be realistic. Look at recent human history. Look at the world we live in today. Look at the people around you. Look at us! For heaven’s sake, Arya, even if all this about a multidimensional universe and our infinite potential is true, at this moment in time, we’re light-years from manifesting our divinity! In ten thousand years, maybe, if humanity survives that long. But now? In the coming decades? Do you really see this happening? I certainly don’t!”
Arya carefully scooped the last drops of strawberry juice from her plate. “I understand your skepticism. That’s exactly what I thought. But let me finish my summary. The collective awakening of humanity that you’re referring to is a precondition for the ascension and is also addressed on the website.”
She walked to the bookshelf that covered one wall, searching as she talked. “The Cosmic Village that has numerous sites being founded worldwide – like the one here in Austria I’ve just been invited to visit – is part of a carefully orchestrated strategy to make a powerful contribution to the collective awakening of mankind. Apparently, when 100 people in fully awakened or enlightened consciousness live together, the field of consciousness they generate is not 100 times stronger than that of a single individual, but 1002 times stronger. That’s 10,000 times more powerful. In other words, the people in such a community potentiate each other because living all the time in such an extremely powerful field of consciousness greatly accelerates the spiritual growth of all those involved.”
She pulled out a thick tome. “I assume that the originator of this idea was David Hawkins. We’re both familiar with the Hawkins’ scale of consciousness and, as you well know, we’ve had several heated discussions at the clinic about the validity of his kinesiological tests. Now, rather than wasting time and energy on discussions that don’t really lead anywhere, I could visit the Cosmic Village and actually see for myself whether the field of consciousness there is really as powerful as they claim! The next thing would be to test the transformative power of the field and see if it really accelerates the growth in consciousness of those living in the community.”
Arya walked back and forth, waving the book. “I mean, think of the work of Rupert Sheldrake, Lynne McTaggart, Jacques Benveniste, Dean Radin, Peter Russell, Robert Jahn, Cleve Backster, Masaru Emoto, and a host of others. All these people put their reputation on the line by breaking a sacrosanct academic taboo and affirming the power of consciousness. The academic world has always claimed that the results they obtained aren’t reproducible, but I just don’t believe that all these highly intelligent people were deluded quacks.
You know that I’m convinced that our conception of consciousness as an epiphenomenon – a side effect of brain activity – is wrong. I wrote about this extensively in my doctoral thesis and addressed the problem in my ‘The Unhinged Mind’ series, but I couldn’t offer a viable alternative. That’s why this Cosmic Village is a godsend, Anne! It is a living laboratory where I could finally test the impact of consciousness and intention on a large group of people over a longer period of time!”
Opening the glass sliding door facing the terrace, Arya breathed in the cool evening air. “But I’m getting sidetracked. As I understand it, once the fields of consciousness of the various nodes of the Cosmic Village spread across the world reach a critical tipping point, the plan is to connect them all. This will create a global morphogenetic field of awakened consciousness and trigger a positive shift in humanity’s collective consciousness.
In the initial phase, more and more people worldwide will spontaneously experience awakened states for longer periods. These temporary shifts in consciousness will gain in strength and frequency until hundreds of millions – and then billions – of individuals worldwide are permanently in an awakened consciousness.
In the next phase, once people commit to the Ascension Process, they will undergo a profound transformation and pass through various enlightened states, culminating in the exalted consciousness of an Ascended Master.
This complex, multidimensional Ascension will take place in waves. At first, a relatively small number of individuals will embody Homo Divinus – the Ascended Master of the New Divine Order. Then, more and more people will ascend until every man, woman, and child on the planet is in the ascended state.
The global field of consciousness generated by the Cosmic Village is therefore destined to serve as a powerful catalyst for humankind’s spiritual growth. Apparently, something similar has already been done in the past at the time of Atlantis.”
Joining her friend at the door, Anne voiced a thought that had been nagging her the whole evening, “Alright. Thanks for the clear summary. I’m sure that Sheldrake, McTaggart, and many others would accept the idea that it’s possible to generate a morphogenetic field of awakened consciousness like the one you’re describing. We can talk about all this at our ease, but before that, I have a crucial question. What does all this have to do with your dream? And, most importantly, why did this Raphael Laurent choose to pass on his mysterious message to you?”
Arya smiled ruefully. “I know. The million-dollar question! I’ve, of course, done some research of my own and now know that the scarab was a symbol of rebirth in ancient Egypt. I’ve also read about the Egyptian legend of Osiris, who was killed by his jealous brother Seth. Seth dissected Osiris’ body and scattered his body parts all over Egypt. Isis, the sister of Osiris, found all the body parts and, with the help of Anubis – the black, jackal-faced God of Death – reassembled Osiris and brought him back to life. Probably because of this orchestrated resurrection, Osiris has since been considered the god of Rebirth and Resurrection in Egypt.
This legend bears many strong resemblances to my dream. So, if my interpretation is correct, then Raphael Laurent was showing me in the dream that he knows ancient Egyptian secrets about the Ascension process. My perusal of the texts of the Cosmic Village’s website seems to confirm this. As I told you, they refer to themselves as Ascension Specialists. But, I’ve absolutely no clue – I mean, not the faintest idea! – of what all this has to do with me! Why should this be of interest to me? And why have I received his invitation to visit the Cosmic Village?”
Arya walked out onto the terrace and leaned pensively on the teak balustrade. After looking out across the lights of the city for a while in silence, she turned to Anne, her voice firm with resolve. “One thing is certain. I’m going to accept the invitation, and I’m going to visit this Cosmic Village, meet Raphael Laurent, and find out the answers to my questions!”
Arya switched off the engine of her car and glanced at her watch. She was twenty minutes early. The small parking lot was empty, which didn’t really surprise her because this wasn’t the official entrance to the Cosmic Village but a rarely used, semi-secret backdoor. Claire, the guide she would be meeting, had made it very clear that Arya was being accorded special treatment.
Adjusting her seat so that she could lie back comfortably, the young blonde breathed in deeply and tried to relax. The drive down from Vienna had been uneventful, but her mind had been rattling away the whole time, playing out all sorts of scenarios.
During the past week, she’d researched the Cosmic Village phenomenon as thoroughly as she could in the limited time at her disposal. Most of the articles about the Village focused on its unusual non-invasive architecture, unique sewage system, and organic farming methods, and portrayed it primarily as a new species of ecological village. On the other hand, dozens of short video clips on spiritual topics were available in German and English on YouTube and on other platforms, and she had discovered clearly structured video courses on the Kosmosophia website.
Although the videos covered a broad range of topics, the Kosmosophia Team explicitly addressed two major target groups. They were very clear about this and adopted different color palettes so that viewers could immediately recognize which target group a specific video was addressing.
The dark blue palette focused on hands-on spirituality in everyday life and guided the practitioner through a very thorough, carefully structured process whose primary aim was to create the optimal preconditions for a profound and permanent shift in consciousness. The detailed teachings, which conveyed profound spiritual insights, combined with guided meditations, Kundalini Yoga sets, and gong sessions, were, in fact, a practical guide to awakening. The speakers came across as relaxed, natural, and authentic, emphasizing that their teachings were based solely on personal experience and that they lived what they taught. The videos came across very well.
The advanced golden video series focused on the urgent need for a unified spiritual vision, the 21-Chakra system, the Cosmic Village project, and the Grand Cosmic Ascension itself. These videos were complemented by Intensive Workshops, which participants attended in person at various sites worldwide. The explicit aim of these workshops was to cultivate a multidimensional consciousness and to prepare participants for their personal Ascension Process.
Finally, she discovered that the Kosmosophia Academy had a three-year training program for a small group of carefully selected candidates destined to co-found and/or run new nodes of the Cosmic Village in their respective countries worldwide.
The Kosmosophia website had appealed to Arya immediately. She liked its clear structure, lucid language, and simplicity, but it limited itself to a concise presentation of the essentials she had summarized for Anne. Arya found it interesting that, despite deliberately keeping a modest profile, the Cosmic Village was attracting a rapidly growing flow of visitors.
She closed her eyes and let the tension drain out of her body. When she opened them again a couple of minutes later, the green foliage of the forest surrounding the Village, like a protective, living shield, appeared lusher, and the cloudless cobalt sky radiated a deeper blue. Arya smiled contentedly, climbed out of her car, checked that she had everything she needed, and then strode towards the narrow earthen path that led into the woods, her shadow elongated and thin in the early morning sunshine.
Two children romped with their dog through the nearby field of rapeseed bordering the woods. The young mongrel had just been released from his restraining leash and was celebrating his freedom by racing in wild, erratic curves through the yellow carpet of flowers.
The site of the Cosmic Village was perfect, with a breathtaking backdrop of sharply silhouetted mountains, and in an area that was energetically pristine and pure. The air here was clean, the water in the gurgling streams untainted, and the thick-trunked trees in the forest were the robust indigenous combination of deep-rooted beech and oak that have been central Europe’s natural green lung for millions of years. This was one of the few areas left on the European continent where the natural habitat was still intact and the living bond with Mother Earth very tangible.

The wooden bridge, the agreed-upon meeting point, came into sight, and Arya quickened her pace when she saw that her guide had already arrived. Claire had been very friendly and cooperative on the phone, but Arya had no idea what she looked like or how old she was.
A slim woman with a rich shock of curly black hair that fell over her shoulders stood framed in the wooden arch on the far side of the bridge. Her face was unlined and glowed softly, as if illuminated by an inner light, as she examined an oval tourmaline she held cradled in her hands. Arya stared at her, fascinated. When Claire slowly raised her head to look directly at Arya, she came to a sudden halt, and an involuntary tremor ran through her body. The immense power that flowed through those deep blue eyes hit her like an invisible battering ram. The contrast between the delicate, feminine features of the woman before her and the overwhelming spiritual power emanating from her eyes was astonishing. The air around the guide’s head was shimmering and radiant as if lit by invisible flames.
Arya could clearly sense that Claire was looking into the depths of her soul, and was aware of all her wounds, all her conscious and unconscious fears, all the heavy, painful emotional and mental baggage she carried around with her. She felt naked and vulnerable, yet strangely calm and at peace, thanks to the indescribable love and compassion in Claire’s gaze, which continued to pierce into her more and more deeply. It was eerie, but Arya knew exactly what was happening. She was aware that her past and future lives were lined up like a series of dynamic holographic images in her aura and could be viewed with ease by anyone capable of scanning them.
Claire eventually broke the spell by smiling and moving forward to greet the new arrival. She put her arms gently around the young woman and enveloped her in a warm hug. Within seconds, Arya felt as if her heart was pierced to the core as the waves of unconditional love, compassion, and tenderness emanating from the older woman flooded her entire being. Powerful, pulsating streams of vibrant energy coursed through her body, and a gentle current of ecstatic bliss rose up her spine and into her head, immersing her brain in brilliant white light. All sense of time disappeared, as did any distinction between inner and outer worlds. All boundaries and barriers melted away. She felt as if she were floating weightless in an infinite field of pure light and peace.
After a few minutes, Claire slowly broke the embrace. She spoke softly: “Welcome, dear Arya. What has just happened has silenced the doubts in your mind and has saved us time. Trying to convince a bright, critical mind like yours with rational arguments is a challenging, time- and energy-intensive affair. On the other hand, allowing you to experience what’s behind the surface by piercing the veil of everyday consciousness is much more effective because – as you now know – you perceive certain things so clearly and intensely that the experience is irrefutable, which, in turn, triggers off a permanent positive shift in your perception.”
She paused, and then continued: “A crucial aspect of the spiritual journey involves dissolving barriers and dispelling illusions, while transforming and expanding your consciousness. This is how you grow, Arya. Please understand that I certainly didn’t intend this highly unusual greeting to develop as it did. It unfolded spontaneously. I’m simply helping you to make sense of it all.”
Arya nodded silently. Still too overwhelmed to speak, she leaned against the balustrade of the bridge and stared into the clear stream flowing under its thick beech planks. The intense sensations and emotions she had just experienced continued to reverberate in her trembling body. Deep within her, the realization was slowly dawning that this encounter marked a turning point in her life.

Claire’s gentle hand touched Arya’s elbow. “This bridge marks an energetic threshold which you haven’t crossed yet. When you pass between the two arching amethyst geodes embedded in the supporting beams on the far side, please tell me what you feel.”
During their encounter, Arya had been so focused on Claire that she hadn’t noticed the two magnificent amethyst healing crystals. They were huge and curved gracefully inwards like the tusks of an elephant, forming a gentle arch at the summit of which was a large, translucent rose quartz. The overall effect was stunning.
Alerted by Claire’s comment, Arya stepped through the arch consciously and slowly. The distinctive shift in the energy field surrounding her was so abrupt that she felt as if she had just crossed through an invisible wall or protective shield. The vibrations on this side were far higher and clearer. The air flowing into her nostrils was finer and rich with prana. She felt a gentle, insistent, delicious pressure on her heart chakra, and her ears started ringing loudly, as if she had tinnitus. Her throat center began to pulsate strongly, and she could discern a subtle energetic construct at the back of her neck: rigid and unpleasant. This caused the back of her heart chakra to close suddenly, and tension built up between her shoulder blades. All this, and much more, within seconds. She turned to her companion and tried to describe what she was experiencing, but stopped because she realized that Claire knew exactly what was going on.
As they strolled through the woods, Claire explained to Arya what she was feeling and why. The two women walked slowly and, at one stage, sat on a bench for a while in silence, giving Arya the time she needed to adapt to the Village’s energy field and the new experience of powerful currents flowing incessantly through her body, numbing her tongue and gums, and making her teeth tingle. When they finally reached the reception center, Claire closed their first meeting with a comment on the field itself. “The high vibration of the Cosmic Village’s energy field is a powerful catalyst and is, as you see, already triggering off a quantum leap in your ability to sense subtle energies. The longer we live together in the unique energy field which is being spontaneously and effortlessly generated here by the collective consciousness of our spiritual community, the faster we all evolve – on every level.”
Arya asked herself how long it would take to get used to the high vibratory level of the Village’s energy field. The surging currents flowing through her body were certainly distracting. As soon as she stood in silence and simply concentrated on being aware of the here and now, her crown chakra opened wider, and the flow of energy increased. She felt as if she was permanently plugged into an inexhaustible source of energy. It was strange, but somehow the strong sense of connectedness was also very pleasant. She definitely felt more alive and more conscious of the unfolding moment than ever before.

After Claire had left her to attend to her other duties, Ayra decided to leave her luggage at reception and explore the Cosmic Village. In fact, ‚explore‘ was definitely the right word because it felt very much like an adventure into uncharted territory.
She began by examining the smooth, flowing lines of the impressive structure housing the reception center. The building, suspended gracefully three meters above the ground, was a superb example of wooden architecture. All the thick posts on which it rested were anchored on wooden footings and massive wooden screws driven into the earth. Recalling what her father – a civil engineer and head of a construction company – had taught her, Arya scrutinized the braces, beams, ledgers, and rafters. Running her hand over the smooth, varnished wood, she examined the joints carefully, looking for flaws. Everything fitted perfectly: the result of careful design and exquisite carpentry.
The broad porch that surrounded the building offered guests and residents ample opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the panoramic view. Arya also noticed that the space beneath the living quarters had been put to good use as a large shed for storing garden equipment, bicycles, and various vehicles, all skillfully hidden from view by attractive wooden paneling.
The reception center was connected to the identically designed guest house adjacent to it, where she would be staying, by a wide, roofed bridge. The entire setup reminded her of the generously spaced, ranch-style homes she had seen in Australia and Texas, except that the constructions here, nestled snugly between mature beech, oak, and birch trees, were the product of meticulous non-invasive architecture: they had been built without the use of concrete and metal, and without the usual excavations and heavy equipment.
What appealed to her most was that the entire structure had clearly been strongly influenced by Anthroposophical architectural principles, which emphasize smooth, flowing forms and reject right angles and sharp corners in favor of rounded sculptural shapes similar to those found in living organisms. This gave the building a unique aesthetic appeal, creating a relaxing, soothing effect on the viewer.
Since it was a Saturday morning and busloads of visitors were already arriving, Arya decided to check in and shower before walking over to the Amber Cluster, where she was scheduled to meet Raphael Laurent for lunch.
Claire had reserved the Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin suite for her. Intrigued by the fact that her apartment didn’t have a number, Arya examined the doors of the seven other suites on her floor. They were all named after remarkable individuals who had made significant contributions to humanity in some way but remained unknown to the general public. This reminded her of Marie Curie, who would probably also have been banished to oblivion if her husband, Pierre Curie, hadn’t refused to accept the Nobel Prize unless he could share it with her.
An hour later, refreshed and casually dressed in a cotton blouse and jeans, the young blonde walked down the steps of the guest house and consulted the small map of the Cosmic Village which the receptionist had given her. Several broad winding footpaths, all discreetly signposted with stone slabs, led into the village, and Arya took the one marked ‚Amber Cluster‘.
Taking her time, she strolled along the path, savoring the exquisite landscaping, lush vegetation, and profusion of wildlife. The layout of the Cosmic Village was unlike anything she had ever experienced. The carefully designed habitats of its human residents were embedded in the natural surroundings, leaving the groups of trees and rock formations as undisturbed as possible, or lovingly embellished.
A group of children accompanied by two women crossed her path on their way to the Opal Cluster, where the permanent residents live. They wore classic Qi Gong outfits and greeted her with friendly waves. One unusually pretty girl, with long dark hair falling to her waist, slowed down, scanned Arya’s aura as Claire had, and then gave her a brilliant smile before skipping off after the others. This brief, unexpected encounter impressed Arya because she realized the children growing up in the Village naturally developed extraordinary paranormal abilities, confirming the transformative power of the collective field of consciousness generated by the inhabitants.
So engrossed in her thoughts, trying to assess the profound implications of her discovery, she lost all sense of time and was surprised when she suddenly vaguely discerned the Amber Cluster’s outer buildings and the lake’s shimmering blue waters through the trees.
Arya smiled inwardly when she realized that she was nervous. She was curious how her meeting with Raphael Laurent would turn out. Claire obviously thought highly of him, and this raised her already high expectations.
Arya decided to relax and trust that she was in the right place at the right time.
